Biography
Dr. Guillermo Santos  D.O., M.P.H received his Bachelors degree and Masters in Public Health Administration from New York University. He obtained his Medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine – NYIT.

Dr. Santos completed his residency training at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx and is Board Certified in Family Practice.

Originally New York City, Dr. Santos managed a private practice while he was an attending physician at Beth Israel Hospital in Manhattan.
He is a member of the attending staff of The Mount Sinai Hospital. He was medical Director of a Community Health Center and attending at Beth Israel Medical Center

The services we offer include Well-woman care, with health maintenance exams, including cancer screening Comprehensive family planning Complete obstetrical care Evaluation and management of abnormal PAP smears/HPV infections Diagnosis and treatment of menstrual disorders, including abnormal bleeding, amenorrhea and polycystic ovarian syndrome. Minimally invasive surgeries including laparoscopic surgeries Surgical and non-surgical management of uterine fibroids Individualized management during menopause, using both hormonal and non-hormonal treatment options. Gynecology Services provided include: General and well-woman gynecology Routine prenatal care Gynecological surgery Family planning Mature women's clinic (menopausal therapy) Adolescent gynecology (18 and under) We provide a full range of gynecologic surgery for the treatment of infections of the female genital tract, benign gynecologic disorders, genital anomalies, and pelvic floor defects. Many procedures can be performed on an ambulatory basis with the latest surgery techniques available. For women with cancer or precancerous conditions of the lower reproductive tract, gynecologic oncologists provide state-of-the-art care. Obstetrics In addition to excellent general obstetrics services, specialized obstetrical care is offered for pregnant women with a history of difficult or failed pregnancies, as well as those with diabetes, hypertension, or other medical disorders. A comprehensive genetic counseling service provides support and information for couples considering testing procedures for fetal genetic disorders, such as amniocentesis and chronic villus sampling.
